Worship

From the first Sunday after Labor Day through June, services are held at 10:15 AM in the House of Worship at 210 Rowayton Avenue. Holy Communion is celebrated on the first Sunday of every month and all are invited and welcome to partake.

Summer services are held outdoors in Pinkney Park, 177 Rowayton Avenue at 9:15 AM. Bring your blanket or lawn chairs, coffee, even your dog, and enjoy worship on the banks of the beautiful Five Mile River. All are welcome.

Open and Affirming

The United Church of Rowayton is an Open and Affirming congregation of the United Church of Christ, which renews and strengthens its commitment to advocate justice and equality for all people.

Therefore, led by God’s Spirit and with consideration of our brothers and sisters in faith, we declare that we welcome, respect and care for people of every gender, race, ethnicity, gender identity, sexual orientation, age, marital status, economic circumstance, and physical and mental ability into the worship, rites and sacraments, fellowship, and leadership of our church. We recognize and love each and every individual as a child of God.

With God’s grace, we therefore covenant to grow and practice a unity of faith that transcends our differences and celebrates our lives.
